Recently the Devils family gathered together to recognise their achievements in 2017 and give thanks to those who helped make it such a successful year for the club. An unbeaten season on the field, continued growth and prosperity off it and the completion of the League Application process meant there was much to celebrate.
Arriving at the Oaklands Hotel in Norwich, the suited players and coaches and their partners looking magnificent in their amazing gowns were immediately given the red carpet treatment. A large Photo backdrop and a photographer to capture them looking their finest, as well as pre dinner drinks and a large TV showing previously unseen shots of the year got the party started.
Team Captain Alan Baxter-Smith hosted the awards following a delicious 3 course dinner and after a gentle ribbing of the coaching staff, some speeches from Head Coach Chris Mills and Chairman Chris Handley, as well as some special thanks for those behind the scenes at the club, he proceeded to hand out the awards as follows:
