Devils still busy in the offseason

While it might be the offseason the Devils players and coaching staff always keep themselves busy on behalf of both the club and the British Football Community. There were two such examples this weekend which show this to its finest.

After attending a Course, held at the University of East Anglia, 6 Devils players became BAFA Level 1 Coaches, further advancing the already excellent quality of coaching available at the Club.

On the same day Defensive Co-Ordinator Sean Gray, Defensive Lineman Liam Lane and Cornerback Dan Walker represented the Eagles All-Stars, against the Sharks All-Stars, at the 5th Annual Bob Shaw Classic. The charity game, this year held at Hertfordshire University, raises money on behalf of the Cancer Trust and honours Coach Bob Shaw who lost his life to Cancer on the morning of the first game at RAF Alconbury. Unfortunately the Eagles came away with a 12-7 loss but nobody really loses in such a game and the Devils are proud that some of our guys could take part in such a worthwhile event.

Stay tuned for more offseason news as the Devils continue to grow and develop the club, promote the sport both in the local area and nationally and help to raise money for many more good causes.
